Intermountain Natural History Association—November 1992 to May 2003
Publications Specialist. Responsible for developing publications and other interpretive products for public lands agency partners including Dinosaur and Fossil Butte national monuments, Ashley National Forest and Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, and the Bureau of Land Management. Duties involved developing interpretive themes and writing text; the design and layout of printed materials such as guidebooks, wayside exhibits, maps, posters, newspapers and specialty publications; and the production of illustrations, diagrams, cartoons and other graphics. Also reviewed potential visitor center bookstore sales items for accuracy, interpretive effectiveness and overall quality.

Dinosaur National Monument—May 1990 to September 1992
Interpretive Park Ranger. Gave talks, walks, and other programs that explained the variety and significance of park resources. Produced graphics and designed displays for information kiosks.

Los Angeles Business Journal—December 1986 to February 1990
Editorial Cartoonist. Produced regular editorial cartoons and assorted graphics for weekly newspaper.
